According to Sam Caplin of ProElite.com, Showtime (which is affiliated with ProElite) will finally make the oft-rumored bout between Kimbo Slice and Tank Abbott a reality.

The fight has been booked as the main event of Showtime's broadcast which begins around 10 p.m. EST. The fight will likely take place in Miami, Florida where the two former street brawlers will settle an on going war of words.

Below is the the EliteXC card as it stands:

- Tank Abbott vs. Kimbo Slice

- Kyle Noke vs. Scott Smith

- Gina Carano vs. TBA

- Antonio Silva vs. TBA

The organization will also host a Jan. 25 “ShoXC” event in Atlantic City, N.J..
